Swell from the south-east to south at 1 to 1.2m. Wind light west to south-west tending south-east.
Tides shallow first up and there has been some backwash at Dixon and Pogos. Merewether sure to have a few out and try the banks at South Bar and The Alley. Dudley, Moonie and Catho to the south. One Mile up at Port Stephens.
Waters clean and clear in and shorebreaks are shallow on the lower tides. Swim between the flags at patrolled beaches. Water temperature 19c.
