Australia will meet the Springboks in Johannesburg on July 21 before taking on Argentina and New Zealand during the build-up to the World Cup in late September-October.
White 28, has spent the past four years playing in Europe but only 12 months ago, wrote off his chances of playing in the 2019 World Cup.
"I think the year I've just had with Exeter [English Premiership side] is certainly the best footy I've played in my career and I'd like to think I'm getting better," he said at the time. "So I hope one day that opportunity [to play a World Cup] comes. I've put a line through the next World Cup but if I'm playing good enough footy then [in 2023], something could possibly happen and it's something I'd jump at. Maybe a World Cup at 33."
White, who made 67 Super Rugby appearances for the ACT Brumbies, now appears set to add to his tally of 22 Test caps.
