Police allege the woman, who was employed as an occupational therapist, groomed a 38-year-old intellectually disabled woman over the course of eight months, encouraging her to have a sexual relationship.
On Friday, investigators executed a search warrant at the therapist's home, seizing several items.
About 3.30pm the same day, the woman attended Wyong Police Station, where she was arrested.
She was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with person with intellectual disability, and one count of use intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence.
She was granted conditional bail to appear in court next month.
