The third annual blues and folk ukulele concert will feature performances by Sue Robinson, Triple Effect, Clyde Street, Threepence and Original Cyn and Co.
Triple Effect is made up with sisters Carrie and Lynden Jacobi and Len McCarthy. The acoustic folk trio sing original songs about contemporary social and environmental issues, as well as songs that speak to the heart.
Original Cyn and Co is a duo pairing of Cynthia on the ukulele and Danielle on ukulele bass. Both sing. Threepence is a four piece group with a focus on harmony singing, starring Penny Creighton, Anne Cowper, Lynden Jacobi and Gail Walsh. Threepence covers an eclectic mix of blues, folk, a capella and original songs.
The concert will be held at Merewether Uniting Church Hall from 7.30pm. It is a $15 donation to watch.
