BEACH WATCH
Surf conditions to be small and clean though wind may be onshore but not too strong. No increase in swell till the weekend with just a few small breaks out on the banks as tides not big enough for the reefs. Swell S/E to South at 0.5 to 1m. Wind light and variable North to N/W tending N/E. Tides running out to a mid morning low tide and some breaks have some backwash. Bar Reef, South Bar and Cliff the most popular breaks. Newcastle Beach off the king rock. Redhead, Moonie and Fraser to the south. Birubi up at Port Stephens. Waters clean and clear in with slight sweeps and beaches sanded up.
