BEACH WATCH
Good to see public beginning to social distance while at the beach and remember no more the 2 people per group especially in car parks. Surf looking promising with freshening offshore winds and a slight increase. Swell from the East to S/E at around 1m. Wind freshening North to N/W. Fuller tide first up and better waves towards the northern corners and banks lining up with direction. Newcastle Beach, Bar Reef, South Bar and Dixon for the early. Redhead, Frenchmans and Catho to the south. Birubi and Boxy up at Port Stephens. Few patches of kelp about. Water is clean and clear in for a quick swim and on 21C. - Dave Anderson
