BEACH WATCH
Onshore winds again for the day with swell beginning to drop after the mornings big high tide. Surf conditions remain bumpy with few shorebreaks that will tend to close out on afternoon shallow low tide. Swell from the S/E to South at 1.5 deceasing to 1m. Wind light early before freshening S/W to East. First up on the incoming tide try the banks in front of stormwater pipes at Merewether and South Bar. Cowrie and Bar Reef on high. Burwood, Dudley and Caves to the south. One Mile up at Port Stephens. Slight sweeps and shallow banks with few patches of kelp about. Water temp 19C. - Dave Anderson
