Robinson Property's Mike Flook has listed 25 Scenic Drive in Merewether for sale. The classic 1950s brick residence is over three levels with floor-to-ceiling glass maximising uninterrupted, northeast views.
"It's one of those homes that those who drive up Scenic Drive have always admired," Mr Flook said.
"The views are just absolutely stunning. For someone looking for a beachside home, it's certainly less than what some of these multimillion-dollar homes are selling for but with views equally as good, if not better, and never to be lost."
It is around 250m from the beach, ocean baths and Merewether Surfhouse. Price guide is on request but the Newcastle Herald understands interest is expected around $2.5 million. It is open Saturday at 10.45am.

From one significant listing to another, Walkom Real Estate's Thomas Hook is marketing a multi-dwelling property at 44 Railway Street that he has described as arguably one of Merewether's largest landholdings.
The property comprises three villas on 1037 square metres of land with an R3 Medium Density zoning. It has a frontage of around 20 metres with dual access. It is withing walking distance of the beach, The Junction Village and pubs, cafes and restaurants and expected to generate strong developer interest. It is being sold through expressions of interest, closing June 25, and open Saturday at 1pm. A price guide has not been disclosed.
"It could be leased out for now, land banked and developed later into units or four houses," he said. "It's got a variety of options and we've already had good interest from our database."
Another Merewether property proving popular is a three-bedroom home on nearly 600 square metres of land at 14 Stanley Street that is on the market for the first time since being built in the 1930s. First National Newcastle City reported 17 groups through the first open house last weekend.
