BEACH WATCH
Surf conditions will be similar to the last couple of days with the swell not quite big enough to break on outside banks and shorebreaks are tending to close out. Best conditions will be early while waves are cleaner and before the tide fills up. Swell will be from the SSE at 1 to 1.5m. Wind light to moderate S/W to south shifting S/E during the afternoon. Only a few of the reef breaks will have decent waves and they are sure to have a few out on the water. First up try Merewether then Bar Beach and Cowrie towards high.Caves and Catho to the south and One Mile up at Port Stephens. Water temperature 17 degrees. - Dave Anderson
