To date, 763 people have died from coronavirus in Victoria, with two new deaths announced since yesterday.
The 14-day rolling case average in regional Victoria has fallen to 1.6.
DHHS will provide an update of the number of coronavirus cases by local government area on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the head of Premier Daniel Andrews' office will appear before an inquiry into the Victoria's bungled hotel quarantine scheme.
Chris Eccles will give evidence to the inquiry on Monday, after former Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton claimed he was the one who set up the "deal" to use private security guards in the program.
Meanwhile, Premier Daniel Andrews said the recent stats were a "cause for great optimism and positivity right across metropolitan Melbourne".
"That is proof positive beyond any question that this strategy is working," he said on Sunday.
Mr Andrews said the path towards easing rules would be constantly reviewed, but he's standing by his "safe and steady" approach.
