But have you heard of an ice cream hangover? This may become a thing, given that Ben & Jerry's is part of a limited release "ice cream-inspired beer".
In a phrase almost as enticing as ice cream itself, public relations people described the new beer as a "love child of two planet-loving brands".
This is apparently "good beer that gives back" because it's helping ... yep ... the renewable energy cause.
The beer, brewed at the 4 Pines Brewery in Brookvale, is inspired by Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough flavour.
"This sweet and creamy lactose-infused golden brown nitro beer is a hard pour style," the company's press release declared.
"When poured hard into a glass, the nitro infusion gives the beer a mesmerising cascade of colour and a marvellous head with a creamy mouth feel."
The planet-loving 4 Pines uses solar and wind power at its Brookvale brewery and Ben & Jerry's likes to get involved in climate activism. So, Greta Thunberg's ginger bread-flavoured ice cream may well be next.
This unlikely marriage also has a third party involved - Australia's first community-owned power company, Enova Community Energy.
Through Enova, Ben & Jerry's and 4 Pines will support a solar installation for a community group.
Enova will seek expressions of interest from community groups who are interested in receiving funding for solar installations from this partnership.
Hunter groups, get your hands up ... and spoons ready.
The Barre Truth
Kristin Scott - who almost married Knights star Mitchell Pearce - has been promoting her Hunter Street dance/fitness studio Barre Effect on Instagram.
Scott and Pearce's wedding was cancelled last year, after the NRL star was caught in a sexting scandal with a female Knights staffer.
So it's good to see Kristin keeping herself busy with work. Mind you, she has reportedly helped Pearce with his ongoing recovery from pectoral surgery. He's no longer barred, then? Hang on, he sort of is.
Barre Effect will run a "Be Your Best" challenge on May 29.
The 30-day "fitness and wellbeing journey" is dedicated to "building healthy habits for your body, mind and soul so that you can be the best version of you".
