Jets W-League captain Cassidy Davis was integral to establishing Warners Bay as one of the strongest clubs in Newcastle Herald Women's Premier League.

Davis now plays in NSW National Premier League Women's for Manly but helped Warners Bay to championship glory in 2016 in a first-grade team that included younger sister Airlie, had dad Leon as coach and mum Fran as manager. Older sister Greer also played at the club.

But in a first for the WPL club, and possibly the competition's history, four sisters are featuring in first grade for Warners Bay.

Georgia, 21, and Elly Cook, 19, joined Warners Bay from Adamstown last season and have been regular first-grade starters.

Now their 15-year-old twin sisters Mia and Sophie are coming through the ranks. Mia made her first-grade starting debut in midfield alongside Elodie Dagg and Tara Pender at John Street Oval on Sunday and earned the praise of coach Craig Atkins for her efforts.

"For a first-grade starting debut at 15, I thought she was quality," Atkins said. "She played 90 minutes and held her own."

Mia had scored in her first-grade playing debut with a stint off the bench in Warners Bay's 5-1 win over New Lambton in round nine.

Sophie played 20 minutes off the bench in a 2-0 loss to Maitland in round 11 then sat on the bench last weekend in a 4-2 loss to Charlestown.

Atkins described the back-to-back losses as "a form slump" but was confident last year's grand finalists could bounce back.
