The 24-year-old, representing Australia at his third Games, finished second in the men's T34 100 metres final on Monday.
He recorded a time of 15.37 seconds.
Tunisia's Walid Ktila set a Paralympic record for the event, stopping the clock at 15.01s.
Ktila and McCracken have been 1-2 in this race at three straight Games - London, Rio and Tokyo.
Bundaberg-born McCracken, who lives and trains in Newcastle, now has five career medals - three silver and two bronze.
He has the men's T34 800m later in the program.
