Two more people - including a man aged in his 30s - have died with COVID-19 in the Hunter Region, as daily case numbers in the local health district continue to rise.

Hunter New England recorded 2654 new cases in the 24 hours to 4pm on Monday, up from 2046 and 2011 the previous two days.
Two men - one aged in his 30s from Lake Macquarie and another in his 80s from Newcastle - died with the virus during the 24-hour period, Hunter New England Health said.
Of the new cases, 2146 were detected by rapid antigen tests and 508 were identified by PCR tests.
There are 63 people with COVID-19 in Hunter New England hospitals, including six patients receiving intensive care.
It came as 21,494 new cases were recorded across NSW during the same period.
The two deaths in the Hunter Region were among nine throughout the state.
There are 1283 COVID-19 patients in NSW hospitals - 53 of those in ICU.
