International competitors, from Australia, the US and Germany, took much of the glory at the iconic Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake in Gloucestershire on May 27.
The event included multiple races throughout the day but the rules remain the same in each round: be the first the tumble, scramble or dive across the finish line to win a wheel of cheese.
Perth man Dylan Twiss was the first runner down the 180 metre hill on the second race of the day, securing him the cheesy prize.
He discussed his tactics after the race, saying "I was trying to stay on my feet then I started rolling so I just had to go with it".
"Every time I found my feet were on the ground I took another couple of steps," he said.
Nursing a gash on his leg, the Aussie champion had a message for his friends at home "fellas, I told you I'd win it. So there we go!"
Among the crowd of international participants in the cheese-rolling event at Coopers Hill was US YouTuber and rapper Darren Watkins, better known as IShowSpeed.

The influencer, who has almost 25 million followers on YouTube, was whisked to the medical tent after the race with a leg injury but said he was keen to return.
"I want to do it again," he told UK reporters.
"I know how to win."
