Wests Group chief executive officer Phillip Gardner said the $9million purchase of the Corlette luxury resort represented a long-term commitment to Port Stephens.
“The Anchorage will complement the newly refurbished Wests Nelson Bay Diggers by providing a quality accommodation option for Wests guests and people visiting the Port Stephens region,” Mr Gardner said.
“The Anchorage property has 88 rooms and suites with private balconies and most boast ocean views.’’
Wests Group’s portfolio already boats Western Suburbs Leagues Club, Wests Bowling Club, Wests Mayfield, Nelson Bay Diggers, The Executive Inn, The Gateway Inn and Balance gyms at Mayfield, New Lambton, Newcastle and Nelson Bay.
