But if Friday's event mirrors the previous two editions of the female golf charity day, the local businesswoman and breast cancer survivor will be happy.
"Last year I performed terribly, but if you could score on the numbers of laughs I had then I was a winner," said Mrs Histon-Browning, who underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy after finding a lump in her breast three years ago, aged 35.
This year her photography business is one of 11 sponsors - others include Forsythes Recruitment, Novotel Newcastle Beach, Hunter TAFE and Viatek - and all proceeds go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event takes place at Merewether Golf Course and this year draws a record 120 players on an extended 18-hole course, said Forsythes Recruitment's operations manager, Michelle Faithfull.
Among highlights will be the guest speaker, Osmolitan PR director Sarah Osmotherly, and roaming Westpac Rescue crewmen acting as "cart tarts" to distribute drinks and lunch.
