Wesley Mission has spent $358,000 restructuring its Denison Street property.
The centre provides youth services, financial and gambling counselling, home and community care, vocational training, family services, emergency food and cash relief, homelessness services, retail and chaplaincy.
The building also accommodates a cafe.
Chief executive officer Reverend Keith Garner said there was demand for integrated services under one roof.
A homeless person coming to the centre seeking accommodation might also need counselling, emergency relief and vocational training, he said.
The renovation allowed the organisation to create a multi-service hub.
‘‘And that’s important for people in need,’’ Dr Garner said.
