Along with his wife, Margaret, Mr England often travels all over NSW in search of the next addition for their antique collection.
Lining their walls are display cabinets full of collectables such as pot lids from the 1800s, Shorter Toby jugs, musical jugs, glassware and hand-painted Australian pottery.
The couple were recently featured in The Collectioneers Annual 2014, showcasing their most sought-after pieces.
They have come a long way since Mrs England first bought her husband a vintage piece for his birthday - a Father Neptune Toby Jug - about 25 years ago.
Since then their collection has grown and grown.
Together for 47 years, the Englands have often combined travel and their passion for antiques in their later years.
"Now all the kids have gone, it's something for us to do together - we travel all around NSW and just recently went to Coffs Harbour and Cowra," Mr England said.
"It's getting harder with more and more of these antique shows on the TV," Mr England said.
"People are starting to realise that these things are actually worth money."
Both of them will have exhibitions at this weekend's National Antique Collectables Fair.
About 200 displays are expected at the fair.
Visitors can bring antiques for an appraisal for a small fee.
■ The National Antique Collectables Fair 2014 will be held this Saturday (9am-5pm) and Sunday (9am-3pm) at the Newcastle Jockey Club, $7.50 for adults, $6 concession.
