Price scored 131 for the Newcastle representative team in their six-wicket loss to Western in the final of the NSW Country Championship in Orange on Sunday.
Price and captain Mark Littlewood featured in a partnership of 151, which helped Newcastle to a competitive 50-over total of 6-274.
Western chased down the target in the 43rd over, finishing at 4-275.
Last year, Price scored a match-winning 74 not out in the NSW Country final against Illawarra.
In club cricket on Saturday, Price scored an unbeaten 58 and claimed 5-55 in Toronto's loss to Hamilton-Wickham at Ron Hill Oval.
