More than 300 fire stations across the state will be open, giving the community a chance to check out fire trucks and firefighting equipment.
Headed into winter, it’s also a great opportunity for families to talk to their local firefighters about winter fire safety.
A range of free activities will also be on offer including firefighting demonstrations, station tours and fire safety presentations, including advice about installing smoke alarms, changing smoke alarm batteries and preparing a home fire escape plan.
FRNSW Commissioner Greg Mullins will visit Narrabeen Fire Station at 11am on Saturday.
