President Will Gold said the foundation was expecting to pull out as much as 80kg of rubbish from the shores when volunteers hit the sand.
Mr Gold said the foundation was expecting the usual suspects in terms of rubbish – food packaging and cigarette butts.
Target areas will be Horsehoe Beach, Nobbys main beach and the bank between Fort Drive and Shortland Esplanade.
Registration is at 9am for a 9.30 start. Meet at the Surfrider tent located at the front of Nobbys clubhouse.
