The decision means the Sydney Uni Flames captain will miss the next Women's National Basketball League season but she wants to develop her game in Europe. She will be joined at Dynamo Moscow by Dandenong centre Alex Bunton, who has also signed a one-year deal.
"Excited to have signed with Dynamo Moscow for the upcoming season," Ebzery announced on Facebook on Wednesday.
"I love the Flames family. Looking forward to this next challenge in Russia."
The 26-year-old former Hunters captain has returned to Newcastle to play selected games in the Waratah Basketball League this season as part of her quest to make Australia's Olympic team.
Ebzery is on tour with the Opals for a three-game series against Japan, after which 12-woman squad for Rio will be named.
Ebzery missed Newcastle's 78-57 road victory over Norths Bears last Saturday but sat alongside coach Mark Gledson on the bench to assist and lend her support. She expects to return for the unbeaten Hunters against Sutherland at Broadmeadow on May 21.
