An ALDI Australia spokesperson said the store would open at 8.30am and include unique “special buys”, which are traditionally foreshadowed a week in advance and have seen shoppers queue for goods including luggage, televisions, DVD players, snow gear and furniture.
“ALDI is excited to be opening our new store at Charlestown,” an ALDI Australia spokesperson said.
“Charlestown has been purpose-built with new innovations at the forefront of mind.
“It will offer an enhanced shopping experience for our customers with better product displays, improved navigation and modern styling.”
ALDI Charlestown will employ between 15 and 20 permanent full and part-time employees.
Charlestown Square will next welcome H&M into the fold, on July 14.
