Village manager Maria Wheate said the new state-of-the-art facility would prove to be a versatile and useful resource for the 198 residents on site.
The new structure will include a community kitchen, alfresco barbecue area, internal dining room, lounge, and library.
“It will have a multi-purpose function room that will be used for everything from indoor bowls, trivia and bingo to tai chi and bridge,” Ms Wheate said.
“We’re also going to have a seniors-dedicated gym, which the Ingenia Care Assist team will oversee.”
There will also be a sports room, complete with a snooker table and darts board.
“The new clubhouse is replacing the old hall which has been here for 20 years, and it will be four or five times larger than the hall.”
The clubhouse will overlook the pool area, and will have toilet access for those enjoying the pool.
“We’ll find this sensational for functions and Christmas parties, and it can also be booked for personal occasions such as birthdays,” Ms Wheate said.

There’s more good news for residents with the recent announcement the village would be connected to Hunter Water’s sewerage system in April, next year.
Residents won’t be charged for the connection, Ms Wheate said.
“We’re paying for the connection of over 200 homes,” she said.
“Ingenia really are investing a lot of money in the village.”
Meanwhile, Ingenia Lifestyle has organised for pension expert, finance author, and advisor to government, Rachel Lane, to present a free forum for over-55s at Morisset Country Club, this Thursday, November 17, from 2pm to 4pm.
The forum is to explain changes to Australian pensions which come into effect on January 1, 2017.
The changes are described as the biggest in 10 years.
“Guests will hear how best to prepare for the looming pension changes, and see first-hand the benefits of downsizing to maximise a more active lifestyle,” an Ingenia spokesperson said.
