Doberman takes new bite at national title

Ammann (32-9-1) has not fought since knocking out Queenslander Jack McInnes in November.

The 34-year-old has held the national belt on and off since 2006 but lost his most recent title fight in a split decision against Mark Flanagan in 2014. 

Opetaia, a 22-year-old southpaw from Sydney, is unbeaten in 11 fights, eight of them by knockout, and won the NSW heavyweight title two months ago.
