ANDREW Johns and wife Cathrine Mahoney are the proud parents of a baby boy, born yesterday morning.Louis Byron Johns is the second son for the rugby league great and the first child for the couple.Johns has a son Samuel, 9, from his first marriage.Mahoney, a public relations executive, and Johns live on Sydney's Northern beaches.The pair met at a cocktail party to launch Johns's DVD in 2002 and were married in October 2007.They continue to visit family and friends in the Newcastle region. Cathrine's parents moved from Britain to settle in Lake Macquarie and were anxiously awaiting the birth of their first grandchild. Johns said his son Samuel was equally excited.Nick Fordham of Johns's management company confirmed the baby news yesterday but would not release any more details.
