The numbers are revealed in the independent auditor’s financial statements report which will be presented at the next council meeting on Monday, March 26.
The report also confirms a total income from continuing operations of $723.7 million.
These are the first consolidated financial statements for Central Coast Council and are for the period from May 13, 2016, to June 30, 2017.
The audited financial statements and the auditor’s report are available for inspection at council’s offices in Gosford and Wyong, in libraries, and online at yourvoiceourcoast.com
Submissions regarding the audited financial statements can be made to council until Monday, April 2.
Also available for inspection are the audited financial statements and auditor’s report for activities as a water supply authority under the Water Management Act 2000, prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.
The audited financial statements will be presented to the ordinary council meeting to be held in the Wyong Chamber on Monday, March 26, from 6.30pm.
