Police arrest four men after armed robbery investigation on mid north coast

The specialist robbery and serious crime squad joined local police to investigate a series of break-ins and armed robberies in the Forster and Tuncurry area.

Strike Force Harlaw investigators, acting on information from the community, arrested three men shortly after 9am on Tuesday at a Tuncurry hotel.

A fourth man was arrested during search warrants on two homes in Nabiac.

All four men were taken back to Forster police station for questioning.

They are expected to be charged later on Tuesday. The charges are expected to be in relation to the alleged conspiracy to rob a vehicle during a cash delivery at Forster.
