IF you were suddenly unable to speak for yourself, who would you want to speak on your behalf?
And what health care decisions would you want them to make for you?
Those questions will be the focus of a free information seminar to be hosted by Southlakes Carers at Morisset on Tuesday, April 17, as part of Advanced Care Planning Week.
During Advanced Care Planning Week, from April 16 to 22, the federal government is encouraging Australians to think about what’s important to them, and to put their wishes into a plan.
Local solicitor Joy Alleyne will facilitate the session at Morisset Multi-Purpose Centre at 2.30pm.
Southlakes Carers manager Vivienne Bruce said the group had previously hosted successful sessions on wills and the power of attorney.
