HUNTER Masterchef top 10 contestant Reece Hignell will spin his culinary talents into an earner for charity on Saturday night, cooking up a storm for Ronald McDonald House.
Hignell, who was a shock elimination from the reality TV competition this week, will put his skills on offer as an auction prize for a group of 10 people as part of the Raise Love Ball at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre (NEX) in King Street.
“The prize is accommodation and a private dinner party for 10 at Cypress Lakes Resort, and I will prepare a perfectly curated three-course dinner with matched wines,” Hignell said.

“Ronald McDonald House does such great work for families across our region and I feel privileged to be able to help in some small way.”
The money will go towards the charity, which provides accommodation for more than 700 families with a sick child recovering in hospital every year.
