Leading Hunter disability service provider, The Mai-Wel Group, today announced its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Pennie Kearney, has notified of her intention to leave the company at the end of 2018 to pursue personal interests.

Mai-Wel Chairman, Mr Graham Burns, expressed his sincere thanks to Ms Kearney.
“Pennie has made a very significant contribution and impact as Mai-Wel’s CEO over the past 18 years,” he said.
“She has provided outstanding leadership and vision through very difficult and challenging times, including the introduction of the NDIS. Pennie’s determination and focus on quality service provision, diversification of services, innovation and growing the business were exemplary and we sincerely wish her the very best for the future.”
Mr. Burns said the Board will now commence recruitment for a new Chief Executive Officer.
“We will be seeking a CEO to lead the company through its next phase of growth,” he said.
