Diversions have been lifted, and traffic has returned to normal through the area.
EARLIER REPORT: A Truck crash has closed Newcastle Link Road at Cameron Park.
The incident occurred just before 10am on Wednesday and is affecting traffic in both directions. Westbound lanes remained closed at 12.30pm and one of two eastbound lanes are also closed.
The semi-trailer, carrying a scrap steel load, lost control and rolled near Minmi Road. Two ambulance crews were called to the scene. The male driver suffered only minor injuries and did not require hospitalisation.
Westbound motorists can use Lake Road, Main Road, George Booth Drive and Cameron Park Drive to return to Newcastle Link Road.
Eastbound traffic is also heavy due to queuing approaching the crash.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route, avoid the area and exercise caution.
