Mrs Webster, of Cooranbong, had been preparing for her fifth City 2 Surf last year when she was struck down with a chest infection.
She had heart surgery in February this year but was determined to participate in the 14 kilometre event.
She was joined by 11 family members, including many with 'Team Enid, 98 not out' signs pinned to their backs, and crossed the finish line after three hours, 10 minutes and 40 seconds.
"The family all expected me to do it, so of course I did," she said.
"It's good to know it's over. When I was walking I was starting to get tired but as soon as I got to sit down and relaxed I was fine.
"It's a challenge, but you feel great when you get to the end."
As for a sixth attempt? "No," she laughed. "That's it."
