That was the date, 525 days ago, when Terrigal Avoca last lost a men's Black Diamond Cup match, going down to Cardiff by 19 points at Hylton Moore Oval.
The Panthers haven't been beaten since, recording 26 straight victories spread across two different seasons.
This winning streak featured the 2019 minor-major premiership double and sees the reigning champions undefeated on top of the competition ladder following nine rounds in 2020.
With three rounds remaining, Terrigal Avoca are now well placed to claim a fourth consecutive first-place finish.
But it has been the nature of this year's performances that stands out despite the season being impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
Per game the Panthers are averaging 138 points for and 37 against. Harrison Pitt has 36 goals, 11 clear of his nearest rival.
Newcastle City are the opponents charged with trying to stop Terrigal Avoca's run when they meet in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash. It will be played at the Blues' one-off home Feighan Oval with upgrades to No.1 Sportsground starting earlier this week.
City and the Panthers have dominated the competition for over a decade - sharing every flag between them since 2008 and meeting in five of the previous seven deciders.
"We've only lost one game so far this year, unfortunately it was by 100 points to Terrigal," City coach Tim Cotter said.
"We need to show we can match it with them. We have been building the last month playing Warners Bay, Cardiff, Killarney Vale and now Terrigal. A really good step up each week. We need to hold our own in the clearances. We were beaten soundly last time so, for us, we need to toughen up around the contest."
Harry Illingworth comes in for Aidan Watling. Cotter said "we are pretty settled now with just the three games to go until finals".
Elsewhere in round 10 third-placed Singleton host Gosford, fourth-placed Killarney Vale welcome Wyong Lakes, fifth-placed Nelson Bay visit Maitland and Cardiff tackle Warners Bay. All games kick-off at 2pm.
In the women's division unbeaten frontrunners Killarney Vale are away to Maitland, Nelson Bay-Port Stephens travel to Wyong Lakes, City-Terrigal Avoca and Cardiff-Warners Bay have double headers. Play gets underway at 12pm across the board.
Meanwhile, the AFL Hunter Central Coast masters grand final will be played at Hylton Moore Oval on Sunday (3:30pm) with Terrigal Avoca taking on Cardiff.
MEN'S LADDER: Terrigal Avoca 36; City 32; Singleton 28; Killarney Vale 24; Nelson Bay 16; Cardiff, Warners Bay 14; Gosford 12; Wyong Lakes 4; Maitland 0.
