Maitland reinsman Guy Chapple steered Milwaukee Stryder and La La Bron to victories on Monday. His son, Mitch, took Our Madiba to a win on Friday.
"We were there probably a month or two back and nothing was going right," Goadsby said. "We weren't having any luck, but if you keep going around, the luck changes."
La La Bron ($16) broke through for Goadsby at her fourth start for the stable after coming from Craig Cross. She was three back on the pegs in transit but came down quickly the outside late to win the mares' race by a metre in 1:57:7.
"Daniel Jack and his owner sent her to me and thought she would do a job up in the Hunter," Goadsby said. "She was racing in Sydney, so obviously it was a bit of a drop back in class. She's a bit of a temperamental mare but hopefully we've got her on the right track."
Milwaukee Stryder was given a perfect run behind the leader before getting out on the home turn to score an eight-metre win in 1:55:4. It was a third victory in 12 starts for Goadsby after also coming from Sydney.
"Our Madiba won on Friday night and he's won three of his last five so everything is going good," he said.
He said Our Madiba would race again locally a couple more times before heading to Queensland, La La Bron will target more mares' events and Milwaukee Stryder was to be spelled.
