“I think that’s half the secret of its success. You get to talk to people in entertainment and they want to talk about sport, and the sports people want to talk to the business people about the secret or reasoning behind their success.”

The group of Manny Alas (sponsor), Marousa Polias (professional golfer), Frank Barrett (Melbourne Storm media manager) and John McKay (amateur golfer) dressed as KISS, while professional Ewan Porter came as Gun N’Roses guitarist Slash.
Women’s professional Nikki Garrett was in a full-body bright blue Avatar suit. Other big names included former prime minister Bob Hawke and Wendell Sailor.
Entry is free and anyone is welcome to watch. The first tee time on both days is 7am.
