A-League Golden Boot winner Adam Taggart and teammates Josh Brilliante and Mark Birighitti will join the squad for a match against South Africa on May 26.
Taggart, who will play as a forward, is the best placed to secure a berth in the final 23-man squad, having racked up 16 goals for the Jets during the 2013-14 season.
The 20-year-old has already played four times for the Socceroos in the East Asian Cup.
Brilliante has been lauded for his versatility, while Birighitti, like Taggart, has previously represented the Socceroos.
Brilliante and Birighitti will hold defender and goalkeeper posts in the world cup squad.
