A MAN was arrested after an alleged attempt to break into an ATM at Boolaroo early on Sunday morning.

About 2.30am on Sunday, police and security officers attended Main Street after they received information the ATM alarm had been activated.
Police allegedly found damage to the roof cavity housing the ATM.
Police said the man was found hiding on the roof.
They allege he had tools and house-break-in implements.
Entry was not gained into the ATM.
The 31-year-old man, from Hamilton South, was arrested at the scene and taken to Toronto Police Station where he was charged with break and enter with intent to steal.
He was bailed to appear at Toronto Local Court in May.
