A tearful Sharon Logan, who has a weekly shopping routine with her sister, said that Nardia, 56, “is a very private person” whose disappearance was very hard to understand.
“We love you,” she said emotionally, speaking on behalf of Nardia’s family in front of Forster Police Station this morning (Thursday July 21).
“Could anyone who knows anything please make contact with police, no matter how small it is.”
Standing beside her, Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command acting superintendent Wayne Humphrey said that Nardia’s disappearance was very out of character but there was nothing to suggest foul play.
“We have followed a number of enquiries,” he said, adding that police had now exhausted all avenues and so were relaunching their appeal for public assistance.
“We’re at a loss,” he said.
“Public assistance is absolutely essential.”
Nardia’s bank account has not been accessed since her disappearance. She was reported missing on July 4 after a possible sighting but she failed to return home and has not been located or contactable She was last seen definitely on July 1. Her belongings, including her wallet and bank cards, are still at her apartment, which has been forensically examined.
“She has no way of supporting herself,” Supt Humphrey said.
Ms Clark is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, of thin build with shoulder-length grey hair. She was last seen wearing a white top and jeans.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.
