POLICE are appealing for information following an alleged armed robbery in San Remo overnight.

Emergency services were called to a restaurant on Liamena Avenue about 8pm on Tuesday following reports of an armed robbery.
Police were told a man entered the restaurant and threatened staff with a knife before stealing a sum of cash and leaving.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Command attended and launched an investigation into the incident.
A crime scene was established which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
As inquiries continue, officers would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.
The man is described as being Caucasian, about 170cms tall, medium build and wearing a white jumper and black tracksuit pants.
