The Main Creek fire began on Monday and remains within containment lines.
At 3pm the fire remained at Advice level, meaning residents should continue to monitor the situation and follow directions from firefighters.
A NSW Rural Fire Service spokesman said no properties were immediately under threat on Tuesday afternoon as firefighters work to extinguish the blaze.
Southerly winds had pushed the fire towards properties at Main Creek Road and Skimmings Gap Road but authorities are working to keep the fire within a perimeter.
