WANDERERS lock Marcus Christensen and University hooker Dane Le Rougetel have been selected in the Australian Country Stockman side to take on the Western Force next week.
Christensen toured New Zealand, Chile and Argentina with the Stockman at the end of the last season. This is Le Rougetel’s first call up.
They leave Saturday night, play Western Force Under-20s on Monday and the Force senior squad next Saturday after the Perth first grade grand final.
The majority of the squad is made up players from the country who are playing in Brisbane and Sydney.
“It will be a great experience and a level above anything I’ve done,” said Le Rougetel, who played second grade at Manly before joining the Students.
Christensen is one of five survivors from the South American tour.
“We will be training twice a day and be pretty full-on,” he said.
