NSW Maritime acting executive director, Andrew Mogg, said the fire caused the vessel to sink on Monday, July 8.
The vessel was salvaged on Thursday.
"Roads and Maritime Services assisted with the salvage of an 11-metre vessel which caught fire and sank at Wangi Bay," Mr Mogg said.
"No persons were on board at the time of the incident.
"After contacting the owner, a contractor removed the vessel from NSW navigable waters on Thursday, July 18."
Roads and Maritime monitored the salvage operation to ensure protection of the environment, Mr Mogg said.
The vessel sank between the Wangi RSL Club jetty and the nearby boat ramp.
