Although the 33-year-old has no plans to put away the whistle anytime soon, he has learned to "appreciate each milestone as you get older".
"Paul Ryan told me when I first came into the top grade that it would take about 50 games to get the respect of the players. That was pretty accurate," Logan said. "Now, you just want to continue to improve."
Logan was 18 when he controlled his maiden top-grade game in 2006.
"The Waratahs beat Maitland 102-5 and Mark Taufua scored five or six tries. Waratah went on to win the comp that year," Logan said.
Logan has since developed into the region's leading whistle blower. He has officiated five grand finals, numerous Country Championship finals, including this year. His two biggest appointments have been NSW Country against NSW Subbies and Queensland.
"The fitness level and requirements are different but it's still enjoyable, especially having the young guys around pushing me," he said.
"You are more accountable now. BarTV broadcasts the games and the audio is on.
"You have to be consistent as well. The players are a little bit smarter, the captains are anyway.
"The main thing is that I still enjoy it. It also gives me a break away from the kids."
