ANOTHER ROUND Queensland folk-pop act Busby Marou are hitting the road this spring as they prepare to follow their No.1 ARIA album Postcards From The Shell House. The duo of Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou released first single Over Drinking Over You last month and it'll be followed by album No.4 The Great Divide on September 19, which was produced by Holy Holy's Oscar Dawson. Newcastle fans can catch Busby Marou at the Cambridge Hotel on November 14.

ALL ABROAD The Newcastle edition of the Wollombi Music Festival has announced its line-up for October 26 at The Station. Dance band Tijuana Cartel headline the festivities, joined by Minnie Marks, Highlife, Dave Orr Band, Declan Kelly, The Ninth Chapter, Liam Gale & the Ponytails, The Hamilton Alpine Club, Diplazar and Georgie Jones.
POP UP If classical and jazz are too high-brow for you, the Newcastle Music Festival has also catered for a more contemporary taste. Next Friday the Adamstown Uniting Church will host Lo-Hi @ The Dungeon, headlined by rising Central Coast indie-folk three-piece Little Quirks. The band of sisters have been gathering momentum since the release of their track Crumbled, which has amassed 1.9 million streams on Spotify. Other acts at the Dungeon include Newcastle's India and The Journey to the East, Edda Srey and Jasmine Pearl.
GRASS CUTTER Disco legend Leo Sayer will be back in the Hunter on October 12 to get the audience grooving on the lawns of the Toronto Hotel. Sayer will perform hits like You Make Me Feel Like Dancing and When I Need You, plus tracks from his new album Selfie, released in April.
