At around 12.10am, on Friday, the woman was driving an Audi Q3 along Bayview Street, Warners Bay, police said.
She allegedly attempted to change a song on her mobile phone that was fitted in a legal mobile device.
Police said she left the road at this point and collided with a power pole near a pedestrian crossing.
Police attended the scene and conducted a breath test which returned a positive result.
The woman was arrested and taken to Belmont Police Station where a breath analysis returned a reading of 0.101, classed as mid-range.
The woman was charged with mid range PCA and her licence was immediately suspended.
