After welcoming daughter Harriet into the world two years ago, the pair revealed on Twitter on Sunday that their family will grow from three to five in 2021.
"McKinnon twins coming in May 2021," he wrote.
McKinnon's promising rugby league career was cut short when he suffered a spinal cord injury playing for the Knights in March 2014.
McKinnon married Teigan in 2017 after fulfilling his promise to rise from his wheelchair on their wedding day.
He has since become a corporate speaker and also works for the Knights in recruitment.
