Watts is looking at around 21 players to train weekly, more than likely at Charlestown, ahead of fixtures the next two months.
The Rebels are away to Canberra in May (15-16) and then home to Illawarra in June (26-27) as part of a new-look tri-series.
* CENTRAL COAST clubs Wyong and The Entrance will both hit the road this weekend, marking their first away games in 2021.
The Roos and Tigers have played three games in-a-row at home to start the season, recording a combined total of four wins from six outings.
Wyong actually travel the next three rounds - Macquarie, Cessnock and Kurri - before hosting The Entrance at Morry Breen Oval next month. The Tigers have Central at St John Oval on Sunday and the Pickers at Maitland Sportsground on May 1 but return to Edsacc Oval in between to meet Souths.
* BEN Roose will be out in the middle for Macquarie in round four, having recovered from a quadriceps issue suffered a fortnight ago. The Scorpions host Wyong at Lyall Peacock Field on Saturday.
* MAITLAND look to have reshuffled their backline slightly as they prepare to meet Souths at home in round four.
Jarom Haines has been named at fullback after missing last start. Pickers custodian Daniel Langbridge went off for a HIA in the 56th minute against Cessnock on Saturday and never returned.
* LUKE Huth returns to NSW Cup with the Knights following a cameo with Lakes on the weekend.
* NEWCASTLE Hunter Community Rugby League competitions got underway on Saturday.
Men's A-grade victors were Northern Lakes, Thornton-Beresfield, Dora Creek and Kurri. Women's A-grade went the way of Central and Souths. Ladies League Tag A-grade had Kotara, Maitland, Central and Aberglasslyn post wins.
