WESTS
GAINS: Zac McGuigan (Merewether), Connor McHugh (Port Macquarie), Flynn Guest (Belmont), Daniel Andrews (Merewether), Denzel Andrews (Maitland).
LOSSES: Stewart Morgan (travelling), Ben Chew (not playing), Tom Allen (undecided), Brad Aldous (early-season work commitments).
PROGNOSIS: After winning the two-day premiership-Locker Cup double last season, Wests are deservedly rated as the team to beat. Zac McGuigan shapes as a handy replacement for Stewart Morgan, and the class of James King, Joey Price, Aaron Wivell and Josh Emerton should ensure they are again there or thereabouts at the business end of proceedings.
